Best wishes to Rose's daughter who recently got married! I hope that helped explain why the tally just came out. I am sure that the readers also have families and would appreciate the dedication of Rose to attend to her daughter's special day.

My short story topped the woof contest. However, my poem was way below the ranks. I guess that type of poetry was not so popular after all.

I just got back from my trip. (You were right Jan, it was a road trip!) Too long for someone with so many ideas in his head to endure! Thank goodness for handheld devices to write down his thoughts.

A First at the WOOF

Early this morning, I got an e-mail from PlotDog about the results of the April 24 contest. Frankly, I wasn't expecting any of my poems to be in the top five since some of the good online writers I know also had entries.

It was a surprise for me to see that the top one and two poems were mine. This was a first, according to Rose, the webmistress of PlotDog.

Again I thank all the participants who voted for my poems. Here is the list;

Woof I did it again!
