A Gentle Touch

P04062009-07120718M

I undress you with my lustful desire,

loving every curve, each flaw is afire.

These are perfect mistakes an artist drew,

priced to infinity, a masterpiece that is you.

Your kiss is a gentle touch upon my face,

tender and loving I bind you in embrace.

My body growls hungrily for your presence,

a whiff of your scent vows the start of my soul’s essence.

The caress of your skin electrifies,

each one of my senses, every nerve excites.

Heightened perception of agony,

emotions ignite caressing your body.

Hungry for your presence, hurting to stay away,

it pains to let go and leave you in dismay.

Magnum opus – all memories latched,

triggered by the power of your gentle touch.

Anything is possible: Questioning faith?

Today is Good Friday. Let us remember the mysteries of the Christian faith.

Questioning faith

P04062009-07280733M

You think I am a fraud?

When I was able to wake the dead.

I did not cheat when I turned,

wine from water at Cana.

I fed thousands of followers,

with a few fish and bread.

Demons run away at my command,

yet you do not believe.

You are still not convinced,

from my countless miracles?

Haven’t you already learned,

that anything is possible on this earth.

You bribed my friend with silver coins to betray me,

tortured, humiliated, and crowned me with thorns.

I died on the cross, but I rose again,

because I love and forgive you from your sins.

Zorlone is top one in the WOOF contest!

There were sixteen entries this week and all entries were superb. This is the third consecutive week that Zorlone placed in the contest. A million thanks to all the participants!

Writers Offering Our Finest for April 3

    Poetry
zorlone - “Almost a sin?” - A borrowed experience from a good friend which I turned into a poem. The main character asked this question in the end.
Dragon Blogger - “Lovers in Bed” - Another poem of passion between a couple.
Jennifer M Scott - “A Bad Night for a Poet” - I think the title describes it all, perhaps not my best work but it is genuine for what I am feeling at this moment.

    Non-Fiction / Personal Memoir / Personal Essay / Philosophy
Dina Tibbs - “Kicke Out Of Kindegarten” - Memoir of my early years being raised by hippies.
Deeptesh Sen - “Dance at Dusk” - It was an experiment with the higher truths of life and profane religious thoughts engendered in this tormented world where only HE can save us again.

Passionate Blogger

A tribute to bloggers everywhere

(click the colored words to find out who are in the links)

Gewgaws, rants, wanderings, and writing stuff,

blogging time away day in and day out.

Random thoughts, musings, poetic expressions, and writings,

brighten up our day - thought provoking, and life inspiring.

Blog hop and comment on favorite blogs,

meet interesting people, none of them are snobs.

“Dropping is useless,” so one would say,

“without making your presence felt in any way.”

Making friends as you encounter them online,

appreciating other’s work and reciprocating them in kind.

Some friendly advices, helpful takes, and insights,

teaching both student and teenage writers alike.

Make banners, widgets, links, stars, and rewards,

icons, shout outs, and even Entrecards.

Are all but esoterical and time consuming endeavors,

leaving links behind and returning the favors.

You would ask, “What struggling bloggers do?”

a day job, you mean, just like me and you?

Some are in military, science, health care and poetry,

some stay home to take care of their own families too.

Blogging is addictive, habits are formed,

showing no regrets just lessons learned.

A passionate blogger is one who will always be,

Caught in the stream blogging for you and me.

Summer Rain

P04022009-01260136M

Bathing in the rays of the summer sun,

while walking in the splendor of the day.

The humid wind sang a low and dry tune,

of the passing fragrance of children at play.

Their voices beckoned an array of flavor,

of delinquent pleasure of an afternoon iced tea.

Each eager mouth swam in splendid awe,

their tongues cater to chips and cookies.

Swiftly, the bright and scintillating heaven,

was covered by clouds of gloomy layered blankets.

A cool breeze mixed with the hot humid air,

felt like cascading limbo in sudden darkness.

A slow drizzle then a vociferous orchestra,

of lightning and thunder clashing in the sky.

A heavy pour of what were once icicles,

fell on cracked and parched ground, so dry.

The children provoked war games with the cold shower,

but, a quick retreat was called from up above.

The sun shone ever brighter as if to say,

“You have no right to play with the summer rain.”

After a short conversation with JenaIsle, I had a spark of inspiration to write this poem.

Top Droppers!

Since I started my blog last Feb, I haven't been able to thank the bloggers who have supported me by building traffic on my site. I hope this can make up for it.
